Widening Boots Narrowing Boots Shortening Boots
Widening Boots:
Step 1: Email info@bootalterations.com with a few pictures of your boots, while wearing them from different angles and the material of the boots if known. Please let us know the State or Province you are located in. As soon as you receive a “Confirmation Email” you may proceed to the next steps.
Step 2: Please print or email this Widening Measurement Form. Measure the circumference of the widest part of your calves (while wearing the boots) and record it in Part 7 “widest part calf.” Zip your boots up as high as you comfortably can and with a sticker, chalk or tape, indicate this spot. Please do this for both legs. You may view THIS video for visual instructions.
Step 3: Insert into a box/ bag or email the following:
Step 4: Place your boots into a box/bag and ship to Leon’s Boot Alterations & Shoe Repair – address below.
If shipping from the USA or abroad (not Canada), please use United States Postal Service (USPS) and advise the shipping agent to attach a ‘Commercial Invoice’ and in the description to add that the “Used Boots / Shoes are for repair & return.” They can use HS Code 9992.00.00.

Step 5: As soon as we receive your shipment, we will complete the alterations within three to five business days and ship your boots back to you.
Narrowing Boots:
Step 1: Email info@bootalterations.com with a few pictures of your boots, while wearing them from different angles. Please let us know the State or Province that you are located in. As soon as you receive a “Confirmation Email” you may proceed to the next steps.
Step 2: Please follow the instruction in THIS VIDEO to make your measurements.
Step 3: Insert into a box/bag or email the following:

Shortening Boots (Stand Alone):
Step 1: Email info@bootalterations.com with a few pictures of your boots, preferably while wearing them from different angles. Please let us know the State or Province that you are located in and how much you would like to shorten your boots by (in centimeters or inches). As soon as you receive a “Confirmation Email” you may proceed to the next steps.
Step 2: Insert into a box/bag or email the following:
^Select “Shorten Boots – Stand Alone” if that is the only chosen service or “Shorten Boots – Add On” if its an additional service to a narrowing or widening.
Step 3: Place your boots into a box/bag and ship to Leon’s Boot Alterations & Shoe Repair – address below.
